Haiti donations sent to the Mission as of February 10th totaled $1350.00
Heartfelt thanks to every yogi and yogini, friend, and family who donated $ to Haiti through our community.
Special thanks to Melody Wilcox (massagebymelody@gmail.com) in Elgin who also offered free massages for 3 hours and 100% of the donations were sent to Mission Emanuel in Haiti.

We chose a specific mission, Mission Emanuel, since Carrie Lisson (certified yoga teacher for kids) went to this mission in 2008 and donated her time and sponsored a child. So this is personally close to our hearts in our yoga community.

Mission Emanuel is uniquely positioned to assist Haitian people who are in desperate need. They/we are accepting donations as they will be transporting water, food and medical supplies via trucks into Haiti. Please contibute, pray and set your intentions at the beginning of your yoga class for our Haitian Brothers and Sisters, especially for the children in this time of need and despair.
